Our participants have the opportunity to participate in gardening activities.
At our life skills house, participants have been able to gain experience, mowing the lawn, using a leaf blower, and weeding. Learning these skills help them to gain confidence in these tasks, further building their independence. We also have a vegetable garden, which the participants help to plant different fruit and vegetables, and help to keep it maintained. Gardening has proven to have many benefits, including: - promoting well-being - reducing stress levels |
